Rufus Ray Pope, 72 of Indianapolis passed away on September 3, 2010. Rufus was born in Lawrence County, GA to the late Artell ans Millie Pope. Rufus worded in television repair for many years. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Rufus is survivored by Daughters; Vickie Jackson, Beverly Cratty, sons; Douglas Pope, Ray, Timothy, and William Terrell, a sister; Mary Tucker, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Rufus is preceeded in death by his wife, Pauline, and sister, Merle West and a brother, Billy Wayne Pope. Services will be held Wednesday, September 8 at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care at 1pm with the visitation starting at 10am. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery.
